The Comfort Of Animals
Current events have moved me to dwell on good thoughts today and other than women and my music, my true comforts are being with and around animals. I have always had animals including cats, dogs, ducks, chickens, parrots and parakeets.
Although I've never owned one, I have also spent a lot of time around horses, most of whom finished out of the money. Seriously, I love and have spent time with horses, cattle and raccoons, the latter being very entertaining to watch and play with.
Truth be known, there are few animals that I dislike and I find comfort interacting with them. I especially like to be with them in their element and escape the daily doses of disturbing stories that one sees on any given day.
Most people, especially animal lovers, are privy to see some of the most loving and amusing actions and reactions in their own homes. It is a peaceful stop along life's arduous journey that helps most of us keep our sanity.....
The News As I See It: A group of terrorists in New York City have hijacked a plane carrying Mayor Bill Di Blasio and a group of lawyers. They have called down to ground control with their list of demands and added that if their demands aren’t met, they will release Di Blasio immediately (professional courtesy) and will release one lawyer every hour thereafter.
People in North Korea who have the same name as Kim Jong Un are being ordered to change their name. Now everyone has the choice of either Khloe or Kourtney Jong Un. That's your choice.
Iran may have attacked ISIS. Do you know how long it's been since I have been able to wear my "Go Iran" T-shirt?

Today's Horoscope: Scorpio - December 5th: There's no reason not to believe that tonight will be any different than any other Friday night. Then again, there was no reason to believe the Titanic would sink either. If it were me, I'd go out and have a great evening. Take a life jacket just in case.....

The AREA 51 Retirement Home Bar And Grill: Bubba was coming out of church one day and the preacher was standing at the door, as always, to shake hands. The preacher grabbed Bubba by the hand and pulled him aside. The Pastor said to him, "You need to join the Army of the Lord!"
Bubba replied, "I’m already in the Army of the Lord, Pastor." Pastor questioned, "How come I don’t see you except at Christmas and Easter?" Bubba whispered back, "I’m in the secret service."
Three retirees, each with a hearing loss, were taking a walk one fine March day. One remarked to the other, "Windy, ain't it?" The second man replied, "No, it's Thursday." The third man chimed in, "So am I. Let's get a beer."
The Hits Just Keep On Coming: A man goes to the doctor and says, "I'm sorry doctor, I know this is unusual but I seem to have lettuce stuck in my ass!" The doctor replies, "Good grief! I'd better take a look."

The teacher asks little Johnny if he knows his numbers. Little Johnny replies, "Yes, my daddy taught me." The teacher asks, "Can you tell me what comes after three?" Little Johnny answers, "Four."

Little Johnny and Jacky are talking to each other. Jacky says, "What does your dad do for a living?" Little Johnny says, "He is a lawyer."
Jacky says, "Honest?" Little Johnny relies, "No, just a regular lawyer."
That's it for today, my little teddy bears. Remember, a relationship is the period of time between "I love you" and "Everything you do pisses me off." It's time for happy hour in AREA 51. Come on down!
Have a great weekend and more on Monday.
Stay Tuned !
